From 2003-2006, Barry served as the managing director of the Wolf Conservation Center Foundation, which promotes wolf conservation by teaching about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future. He spent three summers as a volunteer on the Gray Wolf Recovery Project in Idaho assisting field biologists to determine the health and reproductive status of the reintroduced population, and also had the good fortune of participating in two releases of endangered Mexican gray wolves in the wilds of Arizona. He is on the board of directors of the Red Wolf Coalition, which advocates for the long-term survival of red wolf populations by teaching about the red wolf and by fostering public involvement in red wolf conservation. Barry's career includes over eighteen years in the technology industry. Presently, he owns a Pizza Fusion restaurant—a “green” business that serves organic pizza in LEED certified restaurants that utilize hybrid delivery vehicles. During his career, Barry has also held senior sales and business development roles with eHealth (EHTH), Netscape, NKK Corp., Qwikker and Sony Corp.
